Crepe de Chine coat and handpainted silk large cabochon pendant
My first venture into having some of my silk works displayed on real models. This shawl has an allover leaf design in gold and copper… individually stencilled in “random” pattern. The shawlcan be adjusted to many styles with the hand painted and stencilled matching 57mm pin. The patterning does not show in ths photo but the lime green looks lovely. You can see more catwalk photos on my silk painting blog http://silkwatercolours.wordpress.com
This is one of the garments I will have in the Art 2 Wear fashion parade for Burnie Shines on October the 10th. See the others on my other blog Silk Art By Eve at http://silkwatercolours.wordpress.com
They are simple but very floaty and elegant. The fabric is so sensuous and the colours come alive when they are steamed.
As part of Burnie Shines annual celebrations in Burnie I have some silk garments in a fashion parade…. Art 2 Wear. http://www.burnieshines.com/Date/10-October-2013
