Last year I had an exhibition of varied works at Launceston Country Club. Part of this exhibition is residing for two months on the NW Coast at Sheffield Working Artspace Gallery… together with some new works. Its a great time to visit Sheffield with Muralfest on. The working artspace gallery, run by Tasmanian Regional Arts Kentish, is a bit out of the main stream but just a short walk to Albert St, through the park from the main road. With wonderful new lighting (and heating if it gets cold) it is well worth a visit. Beautiful art from TRAK’s members including felted items, silk works, jewellery, photography and paintings, wood turning and wooden toys. Ask directions at the visitors centre where TRAK members have a second exhibition space which will be manned over Muralfest week.
Purchased a lovely small rectangular pendant from the Workshop last week while we were in Burnie. Received admiring comments when I wore it on a long gold chain last Sunday 🙂 Thankyou
I made five of these rectangular pendants with original paintings on silk. All sold. I am not able to get more of the settings at this stage so the one you have is very special. I am pleased you have had positive feedback. A gold chain would certainly set it off well. Thank you for taking the trouble to send a message.
